This song has always been bittersweet for me. I was in college and took a two week holiday to northern California between semesters, in part to see a girl I liked. My time was up and I had to board that 5-hour flight back east. I pulled out my Discman and put in my "Best of Belinda Carlisle" CD and skipped right to this song. I was almost in tears when I heard the line, "I Don't Know When I'll See You Again, " because it so resonated my feelings that day. It's all good, because we both found who was right for us and are happy.

Reminds me of a girl that I REALLY loved after all of these decades. I had to leave for the military. She moved on and so did I. We didn't do much except to walk, talk, and hold hands in college. For over 30 years, I still think about her now and then.
