Recipe 904 : Diwali Sweet - Kaju Katli

Kaju katli- Kaju katli is a delicious traditional North Indian sweet made with cashew nuts, sugar and cardamom powder. Here “Kaju” is a Hindi word that translates to “cashews” and katli to “Thin slices”. Kaju katli is rich, exquisite, and amazingly decadent with a smooth melt-in-the-mouth texture. It is mildly flavoured with either cardamom powder, rose water or saffron.

Indulge in this mouth watering smooth sweet and go into the Ga Ga land !!

Cashew Nuts -200g
Water - 1/2 cup
White Sugar - 200g
Ghee - 2 tsp
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Rose Essence - 2 drop
