Drama in the Unibet Champion Hurdle as the unbeaten Constitution hill and last year's winner State Man both fall. Golden Ace was the suprise winner!

I don't think Golden Ace would have won without the 2 unlucky fallers but she did uphold the form of last years win against Brighterdaysahead. Well done to all the team. I'm kinda glad that the underdog won.

I don’t even gamble on the horses anymore but that was a shocker of a race ! Pretty sure Constitution Hill switched His legs and misstepped before jumping 🫣😬

Sad to see CH and State Man falling, but there will be other days. However, Brighterdaysahead was nothing but a talking horse and never looked like winning today.

So sad to see both Constitution Hill and State Man fall in this race. Both are exceptional horses and deserved better. I also think the colour and design of the hurdles doesn't help the hurdlers these days.

Constitution Hill asked his first ever question in a race… collapsed 😂 Told everyone this would be the case given his jumping. Easy to do it on the front end with no pressure, but wait until he’s in a race. Istabraq comparisons though 🤣

That hurdle wobbled a bit in front of CH but no excuses for StateMan, thought Townsend looked a bit over excited with the race essentially in the bag, glad both ponies are okay x
