Dubrovnik, Croatia Walking Tour ☀️ (4K Ultra HD) – With Captions
Показать описание
An extraordinary walking tour through one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and certainly on the Adriatic Sea! Welcome to Dubrovnik, a city entirely listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a history that, according to some sources, dates back as far as 6000 years before Christ. One of the most visited cities in Croatia, considered the Pearl of the Adriatic, it also served as a filming location for the Game of Thrones series.
Located in the southern part of Dalmatia, built on rocky slopes and naturally protected from the sea by the island of Lokrum, Dubrovnik boasts well-preserved monuments from centuries ago and enjoys an excellent Mediterranean climate. It has more than 250 sunny days a year, with an average annual temperature of 17°C. Even in winter, Dubrovnik bathes in sunshine, with blossoming and ripe oranges and lemons. The outdoor swimming season begins as early as April, and sometimes even earlier. It lasts until the end of October, and sometimes even longer.
This time, we start our walking tour a bit differently, as we will first embark on a ship on the Adriatic Sea and sail into the old town harbor of Dubrovnik. We will then head towards Fort Revelin and the Ploče Gate, and later stroll down the main promenade, Stradun Street, towards the Great Onofrio's Fountain and the Pile Gate. Afterward, we will return to the old town to see the famous historical staircase, the Church of St. Ignatius, the Assumption of the VirginMary Cathedral, the Minčeta Tower, and the city walls. We will end the walking tour in Pile Park at the Nikola Mihanović Fountain with a view of Mount Srđ.
