Most undersubscribed Youtube channel. I’m always happy to see a new video. Thanks Dave.

Thanks so much for this! Just built it as my first ESP32 project and it worked (almost) first time

Hi Dave, fantastic, finally a ham-YT that is so good at documenting and in the best open source spirit share the code on Github. Very inpiring (and this also preserve your effort over time).
I'm a rather new ham and have searched for ideas for new arduino/esp radio project and have unfortunately, in many cases found that in other aspects some good work often leaves pieces of information to build on. Your channel and yourself are an excellent example of the opposite, and also versed in modern source control and other modern tools for us tinkers.

Im trying to build a device which would help my friend with special needs, swim straight. Which sensor would you suggest that detects left or right direction change ? which could also be built with Arduino.
Please suggest

Thanks so much for these resources Dave. I’m attempting to put one of these together at the moment. I’ve never done electronics before, but I wanted to check – in case I blow anything – that 3.3V means the same as VCC which appears on my Waveshare 1.54" screen. Also, once I’ve got it up and running and want to power it from a battery, what kind of battery would you recommend?

Thanks again.

Will you ever make a video on how to safely power an esp device from 110V or 220V with something like HLK-PM01? I think that the internet lack something like that

How can I connect the waveshare 4.2 screen to a TTGO T8 board?
There is little information about that ESP32 module. Thanks!

I'd like to hear your thoughts on these e-paper displays.
Are they worth the money or would you recommend using the cheaper NOKIA5110 as a display for battery powered projects?
At what kind of screen refresh rate do they start consuming more power than a NOKIA5110 that is "continuously on"?
(or do they also not use a lot of juice while updating the display?)
I've been thinking about buying me one … but i'm cheap … sooo cheap

I purchased a black/white/yellow eink of 1.54 and when it connects with the only driver that works, It is completely random information. No compilation errors, 154x154, Is it just incompatible? Cable number: WFT0154CZ17
