This is the type of guy that comes to America with three dollars in his pocket and creates a multi-million dollar business from the ground up. Seriously impressive. Respect.

The owner of that boat just called and he wants it back now!! Seriously, restoring and rebuilding that engine was effing incredible!! There are hundreds of mechanics with complete engine shops who couldn't have done what you did, and you had nothing more than hand tools and some grinders!!! Great job, I salute you sir!!

I lived in Vietnam for 5 years, and the ingenuity of its people has never ceased to amaze me. This salvage and restoration was something to behold. I cannot believe the work that was done on that barnacle-encrusted engine. In addition, the quality of the video and the editing was fantastic. Thanks for posting the video!

Да, это мастер с "золотыми руками", светлой головой и с огромной настойчивостью. Снимаю шляпу.

I admire your patience, determination, and your prowess in building this yacht. The patience you have used in dis-assembling the hull and insert, and the determination in tearing down the engine, cleaning it up, installing the new bearings, piston rings, gaskets, and getting it running like it was new again. I was an Auto mechanic/technician 46 years and it's such a pleasure to watch someone do what you're doing with such determination and patience. Thank you for sharing a small portion of your life with us, it is very interesting.

Такое ощущение, что мистер чо живёт около свалки подводного государства, которое выкидывает разный хлам на пляж, а во время отлива мистер собирает все это. Несмотря ни на что он молодец, видео популярны во всем мире.!

I am seriously impressed.. Now I’m a damn good mechanic and love restoring any type of moving part but damn I’d of tossed that huge paperweight out and started fresh if of course I had 20 grand burning a hole in my pocket .. So my hats off to you for that awesome overhaul!!! I can’t wait for the fitting of the new power plant???!!!!

I can appreciate your work. I have restored several veicles including a 1963 Ford falcon. It looked like an old wreck when I got it. I won best Ford in show several years later. Your diligence has payed off, well done Mr HỒ Thánh Chế. The engine purrs like a cat.

Very impressive! Especially that engine rebuild. I was surprised to see how good the inside looked, considering it had obviously been submerged for quite some time. Excellent job, looking forward to the next part!

Hats off to this. Seriously amazing. I feel like a lot of people may also overlook that this was a salt water engine, which means that almost every nut/bolt was probably corroded and fused together from neglect and exposure to the elements. This has earned them the rep for being the most challenging kind of motor to work on. Take it from me, a guy who has almost pulled my hair out working on <10hp outboard motors... (very small and simple compared to this.)
