2006 Honda Aquatrax F-12X TURBO JETSKIS!

Today we take a good friend of mine turbo jet skis out for a little rip, these things are a blast to ride, and are some of the most reliable skis I've ever seen over the year, and also the only ski you can get with a turbo from the factory.

Just bought a 2007 4 Stroke Turbo for 6k with Trlr & 76hrs. It's a Great Jet Ski. 58mph on rough waters, 62mph on smooth glass like waters. Very bouncy on front on rough waters is the only drawback. Turns very sharp, quick and deep. I got it used and a month later started getting water in the oil. Speed wouldn't go past 25mph. Took it apart and realized previous owner tried to fix manifold with a patch. Ordered a new one for $1300 but can get them for $800. Now it's back to normal. Great Jet Ski...rate it a 8.5 or 9 outa 10.

There is a recall on the gas tank, make sure it's done! If you run in salt water, always take it out, flush it good, lubricate turbo housing and waste gate. I see she's not hitting 60 to 62. These are plug foulers. Put new plugs in, check the air filter. I'm 280 lbs, my machine hits 62mph. I have an 06 as well, 170 hours. Owned since 09. Only 2 times in a dealer. One oil change. Never again, they didn't extract all the oil and over filled it by, a lot. Causing fouled plugs. I do it myself . And the tank recall.

I absolutely love my Aquatrax. Got a pair of blue ones. Other than a bad main relay on one no issues. 220 hrs on one and 271 on the other

I've never ridden a PWC until a few weeks ago and it was a turbo Honda. I was impressed with it. Now I'm in the market for a PWC and was curious how the power of a 2019 Yamaha EX compares with the Honda. I'm guessing the Honda is in a whole other dimension. Forgive me, I'm a land locked Nevaden.

My dad and I love the three seater we have a 04 non turbo and love it, try hitting the waves a little less head on and go at the angle of the wave then when your going to jump up floor it.

I love my Honda I'm going to be sad the day it finally dies out on me but given how strong it's going it probably won't be for another decade or more

Hey mate great video!

Few questions.

- any known problems with these?
- are turbo failures common?
- parts availability being an older ski? Is it easy to find parts.

Other than that didn’t think i would consider buying one until after seeing this vid. Had a seadoo spark which i likes and learned on and went to a 250x ultra massive power difference. Unfortunately the ultra blew up. Have my eye set on a 07 f-12x.

Purchased a 2004 Honda AquaTrax F12 with 25 hrs and a new trailer for 5k. Do you know if I can just buy the turbo from the F12X and just slap it onto my non turbo one? Besides the turbo, is the engine and everything else the same?

a well sized turbo with todays technology would be soooo superior to the superchargers on most skis if someone would bring em back...honda was ahead of their time in idea but the ECUs are unreliable and buggy, and didnt put enough work into making sure the cylinders could handle more power due to weak liners. If they had done that these would be a staple budget 90mph ski...a simple boost controller alone would make these things monsters if the engine/ecu could handle it
