Y’know it’s interesting that this album is called hesitation marks. Almost like he was hesitant to return to this moniker in fear of what harm it could cause himself 👀👀

I stopped at 1:32. I truly believe this is his absolute greatest album to date. To me the creativity is one of the things that caught me, it's like he combined everything he learned from all of his other albums and made something entirely new. This album's been on repeat for me for the whole week since I got it. I give it a fucking 200 out of 25. phenomenal.

For me this stands up against any of his previous work. And for what its worth "Everything" is brilliant piece of music that grows & grows with every listen. Yes its not dark or claustrophobic or gloomy, but hey sometimes its ok to enjoy life! Try putting your preconceptions aside and give it ALL a good listening. It really is a stunning piece of work that gets better with every listen. Oh and the attention to detail on the production is immaculate!

Thank you for saying "In two" is a good song. To me it was a very underrated song on the record and its good to know that there is a critic out there who liked the track very much.

Everything is rather a depressing song if you look into the lyrics. It's hopeful, but there's something always going to drag him down.

Saying Hesitation Marks was an effort lacking in creativity seems a bit unfair, but I don't think you're overall rating is too far off. Maybe not quite a 4 out of 5 but definitely higher than 3 of 5, so let's call it a 3.5 out of 5.

I just listened to it yesterday. A lot of the songs were a mix of newer, upbeat beats/sounds and classic, darker beats/sounds. Overall I liked it, but I definitely have mixed feelings about it. I wonder if Trent is easing fans into this newer more upbeat/positive sound. The question is, when a music artist's original theme isn't the same theme anymore, because they aren't the same anymore, should they still create music and put it under the same name? Thanks, I enjoyed your review.

I just feel like maybe, a few more listens would give me an accurate review of it. 'Everything' is awful, but besides that the last 4 songs are incredible for me.
