So every time Bae teases or jokes at IRyS we know what she meant.

This checks out. I'm Australian too, and I could tell you that passionate "Oh, SHUT THE FUCK UP" when Biboo was teasing her about the chuuni intro was definitely done with affection.

As another HoloAussie would say: "We tight like that yo! We gang gang!" When it came to trading curses or the endearing C word, with his parents and his teacher.

Now I'm imagining family gatherings like christmas or thanksgiving, where everyone is just verbally annihilating one another

I'm polite to everyone, even my close friends, but that's because I am half-Canadian and was raised in a polite environment.

Luckily for me, I have enough of an accent that most people instinctively understand that my politeness is probably a foreign eccentricity, not an act of distrust.

Bae must really love IRyS and Biboo I guess

This is true. Australians do not hold back when it comes to banter, it is absolutely brutal. To the extent that most Americans would probably think that they hate each other

Imagine HoloJP gang going to Australia and being over polite like Japanese always did.

And people on the street start to cry because they thought they hated by a group of Japanese girl.

So technically speaking, Australians are just the Latin America of EN speakers? Because we do that, we put you nicknames, laugh at you, even bully you, but with limits

Kinda true. I always feel like my supervisor is quite rude to me since meeting but then I realized that he is like that to all his close friends and acquintances. Lol..

Case in point, Tom Cardy (Australian Musician/High Effort Shitposter) made a song Read Between The Lines and one of the lines says "G'day Champion" actually means "I'd like to fight you"

My fellow Aussies. Name a time when someone said "yer fakin carnt" after you tell a very fitting fact

Well... Yeah... Being more formal with strangers and more casual with people close to you isn't an Australian thing, it's a human thing.

Aussies, Puerto Ricans, Osakans, and Italians walk into a bar…

Prison colony holdover, the "overly polite" comes from the wardens.

"I treat you with respect" "I've treated you with love since day one" and "If we act polite we don't like or we don't know you." Which is it Bae? These sentences are conflicting.
