We came in on Thursday and looked you up. You said hello, but were busy with another guy at the time so didn’t get to chat and I think you’d understandably had enough by late afternoon!
We were underwhelmed by the Expo with very little to see, I enjoyed the Cirrus and the Trig guy from Edinburgh was very helpful, but we’d seen everything of interest within 90mins.
The good news was that our arrival slot went perfectly and parking and departure excellent. Not sure we will go next year….

I enjoyed the show. A beautiful day, hardware to admire, stories to swap. Met some really nice people - we’re pilots, after all. Got a doozy of a sunburn to take on the plane to Vancouver tomorrow…

you've inspired me to start my glider training. had a quick go at air cadets and after seeing your videos i want to start learning to fly. cant solo on powered aircraft yet so i will start on gliders. thank you!

As others have mentioned, I though the Expo was a bit thin this year so hope it bounces back in 2024

Frankly, I don't know how you do it Jon.
And by that I mean the way you made what was a very poor Aero Expo into a vibrant and interesting occasion.
My friend and I flew our Arrow III in on the 1035 slot on Thursday, and flew back out again early in the afternoon after basically seeing everything that was there to be seen. Sadly, we missed you, but I noticed our plane there at the end of the your video (G-TSGA).
I would not be surprised if they decided not to host this event next year. After all AERO Friedrichshafen is the Mecca for this sort of thing, and that is now cast in stone.

Really disappointed with show, a real lack of display for manufacturers, not even garmin there, only stayed a few hour, real shame not a patch on years before,

I well understand you featuring the high-end aircraft of £250K plus and the connections it makes for you, but this is not within the affordability of the general GA population. Is Aero Expo a showcase for users or manufacturers? Clearly (the title) the latter. This does not reflect well amongst users Jon. Disliked this video for its principles...
