Twinmotion short film | Stop Animation Path Tracing | The Columbus Ghost

This short film animation was created using Sketch Up and Twinmotion.

I created the buildings in Sketch Up and datasmith them into Twinmotion to re- materialize the buildings. The shots are all pathtraced using Twinmotion.

This film was heavily inspired by the "Columbus" Film by Kogonada. In the beginning of the film there was a saying of "There's this belief if you're not there when a family member dies, you're spirit will roam aimlessly and become a ghost." In the film John Cho aka Jin's father was hospitalized and he had a choice of being there when his father was going to past away or not being there.

I decided to create an off-spin of where he did not show up to his fathers death.

This project took me about 1month and a half to complete start from finish.
