My sensei was a bouncer for years. He weighed 135. He was brutally fast and could get a fit 200 pound on the ground in under the moves.

This was a game changed for me, when I started actually getting excited about getting better at the things I like instead of focusing on the way my body looks. I'm now a ballet dancing climber who does calisthenics! :D

I wish men were told this instead of, "just lift weights, bro!" If you love lifting weights, then great! But if you don't, you shouldn't force yourself to do it! There are other forms of strength training, and it is obviously not the only way to be physically active!

I'm so glad your videos are finally popping back up in my feed! I'm so anxious to start stretching again! I got covid and coughed so hard I broke my ribs so I haven't stretched at all in well over a month now. It's going to be rough trying to get back into it, but I want to so badly!

Because breaking and slipping ribs is unfortunately a problem I've had multiple times, it'd be cool if anyone knew stretches that could be done while recovering from rib issues? It feels like everything involves them!
