If you have ADHD and struggle with using productivity apps & methods long term, you are not alone and you are not broken. Don't see it though the app failed or that you failed. It didn't fail. You didn't fail. It worked for the season that you needed it. It will take time, but do your best not to blame yourself. Use this chance to scratch that explorative or creative itch to find a new app or system that'll work for you in THIS season. If you liked Arianna Bradford's advice & If you're interested in similar advice, there's a great video out there by ADHD Jesse titled "Avoiding Toxic Productivity Advice for ADHD, " where the above advice comes from.

I really like how she is straightforward and sometimes brutally honest without being judgemental or patronizing. This is the first time I've heard of her channel, but I'm definitely going to subscribe after this.

I’ve tried every app under the sun and what I’m realizing is that the apps just don’t work for me. I hate that I have to use pen and paper but it’s literally the only thing I can stick to. Another app is another reason I have to pick up the phone and get distracted again. Modern life is the worst.

re wanting to get all the things done today: neurotypicals don’t have a running 4 year backlog that they happen to be conscious of today for some reason but know will disappear again, probably tomorrow until 2056

Thanks for this. As an ADHD-Dyslexic I find apps much more useful than the pen. My mind thinks a lot faster than I can write and spell and I'll often forget something I was going to write when I have to slow down to try and figure out how to spell a word. Apps and spell checkers are the only way I can function when it comes to none verbal communication.

Is there a human tracker. Like a pet tracker. To automate my location; to see where my time goes.

Like some type of Bluetooth device I leave in my desk to calculate how long I'm gone for.

I love to get interrupted by my co-workers but it takes up such a block of my day.

By the end of the day I have no idea where my time is gone but I didn't get to my due to'ssss...

I would just love to personally see my time by location in feet.

Google does an okay job at long-range motion such as job. It sucks from desk to shop and to each work station.

I'm struggling to find The Centered App... Would have been helpful to have the mentioned apps in the video description with links etc...

Heard you say some things like "hyperfocus", "overwhelm" and "impulsive spending" and I felt so seen. Could you please share your opinion on the sensa app since it seems very appealing and shows up all over my feed. Newly subscribed to your channel after this video!

I'm trying to learn some tools because without medication I feel like I'm a different person, in a negative way.

Overwhelmed by the videos but still clicked yours. Hope I learn something helpful.

I bought 2 of them, in disparate hope for change, and left your video for lack of focus, and I'm not even diagnosed yet first time in half a year :(

Did anyone else not find Paced in the App Store?

Constructive criticism for Artful Agenda: It asks too many questions upon start up. For example, it asks how long does it take me to get out of bed. 10 seconds, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to start my day, I still have to stretch and brush my teeth etc and the app doesn't ask about any of that, and even if it did, I wouldn't have the patience to answer.

Also the art seems designed for women/girls only. It would be helpful to have a Metro style.
