An American airstrike killed the leader of an Iranian-backed militia in Baghdad. A senior U.S. defense official called it a “precision strike” on his vehicle. Iraq is furious, saying the assassination breaks agreements it had with Washington. NBC News’ Keir Simmons has the latest on the tensions.
