The way Stewart talks to everyone he responds to is so genuine, methinks Sting was the pain in the ass.

That sample also sounds like the Stones' song Paint It, Black

Back in black - AC/DC!
I managed to teach a10 year old with heavy ADHD to play almost all of the song, and in time to the song too. He'd never played before and picked up what I was teaching pretty quickly.

He'd had lots of issues with schooling and his mum came back crying her eyes out because she said she'd never seen him just sit there and pay attention for that long to any kind of tuition before. Not going to lie ot eas a pretty cool moment (I blame his teachers if I'm honest)

Back in black is my go to for anyone wanting to learn to play in time to a song for the first time
(Once you've played one ac/dc track though, you can then play to a hell of a lot of them 😆)

I'm not a drummer but I could listen to you talk about drumming for hours and hours enjoy what you put out

I started with 'Please Please Me', then on to every Beatles song in the catalog. Ringo is highly underrated and there are still some grooves of his that are tricky. From there I tackled everything that Bonham did, with varying degrees of success. : - )

I learned by playing the Beatles. My dad recorded all of their songs on cassette and I just played along to all of them until I moved to harder stuff. All oldies were a great teaching tool

This is such a treat for me to hear these master professional tutorials from my absolute favorite rock/pop drummer of all time --Mr. Klark Kent!

Like A Stone by audio slave was one of the first songs I ever learned. Easy and just straight pocket the whole time.

I first Learned of Stewart Copeland on Storage Wars when Barry visited him with a Professional Drum set from a Storage Locker. Then I went onto YouTube and watched Stewart Play his Drum set on the Police Videos... Wow eh! I've found Stewart to be a very Special person.

I always felt like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2 is a good one to start with. A simple back and forth of "single stroke roll" type playing between snare and hi-hat.

Mr Stewart Copeland is a Class Act and a phenomenal drummer percussionist and he gives it up to Charlie Watts Charlie was the man

I feel like Stewart experienced what being a true pain in the ass looked like from working with Sting and from then on made an effort to be the nicest person of all time.

I started with church music since my teacher was our worship leader. Once I started to get more serious I started learning some basic jazz stuff and Sunday, Bloody, Sunday. Then moved on to attempting Neil Peart and Bill Bruford stuff, with varying degrees of success haha.

Alex Van Halen’s intro to Hot For Teacher. I would start there.

My uncle bought me a kit when I was 7 he taught me the basic 4/4 rock beat and gave me Jimi Hendrix Smash hits, The Doors Greatest hits, and Thin Lizzy's first album.
