Funny how Nancy laughed at Peggy and said Hank was a good man but not sexy at all, but when Peggy drugged Hank with testosterone and he gained a bit of muscle, Nancy was checking him out and giggling flirtatiously whenever he spoke to her. That woman was open for business.

Dale and Joseph are victims of both Nancy and John Redcorn. I liked the crazy alien theory episode where Hank reminded Dale that he’s been a better father figure to Joseph than John Redcorn even though Hank vaguely implied it so Dale wouldn’t get hurt from the truth. Plus Dale deserves better than Nancy’s two-timing ass.

Nancy is definitely evil. But I love fan theory that Dale knows Joseph isn't his son, and is intentionally keeping him away from Redcorn, making Joseph give him son's love instead of John getting it. Then seducing Nancy away from John just to ad insult to injury. Oh, and since Nancy makes much more $, than Dale he encourages her career to benefit from it. Dale's not evil, he's just getting even. This episode where Dale encourages her to be away, proves this even more.

I love Dale's shenanigans. Partly because I'm not the one dealing with them.

"You're a genius at making something from nothing! You made Joseph!"

It's lines like that which make me think Dale knew more than he was letting on about that affair.

Dale deserved better, but he stuck with her. She doesn't deserve any of him, or his child.

"Did it bite someone?"
"No, it's a baby and it's cute. _Go film it."_

Fair enough reason to send her out.

11:02 Hank’s been calling Dale a “gibblet-head” since I think the very first episode…and it’s awesome they kept that as the preferred insult for the entire series! Dale’s in the alley talking about global warning, to which he concludes to just let it happen—“they could grow oranges in Alaska”.
Hank: Dale, you gibblet-head, we live in Texas! It’s already 110 degrees here in the summertime, and if it gets one degree hotter, I’ll kick your ass!

They weren't trying to make her have good intentions. they were highlighting the humans ability to justify their morally reprehensible behavior to themselves in exchange for something they want.

No foreshadowing of Nancy's drinking?!
Bruh, _the entire series shows she's an alcoholic!_
The subtext is she's a high functioning alcoholic and curbing Dale's insane shenanigans keeps it in check. This episode just hamfistedly feeds us this info.

I think Nancy’s comment about making the world a safer place was supposed to be self aggrandizing rather than actual concern

She chose Dale because she didn’t want to wind up living in Redcorn’s trailer supporting him on her salary. Then, there is the little problem of having to share Redcorn with other women.

Peggy's comedic narcissm is why she's actually one of my favorite characters, like seriously her voice actor totally captured the tone in the best way. It's hilarious. My fav is Luanne though.

As someone who honestly doesn't prescribe to the "Dale knew" theory, I always liked to take the "you're a genius at making something out of nothing" line as Dale either:
1. Referencing his possible belief that Joseph as conceived by aliens
2. Dale is being more heartfelt in saying that he attributes all of Joseph's good point to Nancy (i.e. Joseph is worthless as 'Dale's son, ' but as 'Nancy's son, ' he is worth his weight in gold)
It would make a cute amount of sense either way, since it shows Dale's unwavering, religious confidence in his wife's talent as miracle worker, potentially literally. I genuinely love how Dale is the most childish person here, but also the most loving and affectionate, and is willing to ruin himself several times over to make his wife and child happy, and it is equally as moving to see Joseph pick up on that and follow suit.

Neither Peggy or Nancy are good people, but their flaws stem from opposite issues of eachother. Peggy is heavily insecure because of her apperence and shortcomings. Nancy thinks she's always right and better than others around her. They're Foil charecters representing two different families.

That bit of comedy was gold.

The line about Nancy being concerned: I think she is lying to other people so they see her as a good person
