Just, Still, Yet, Ever, Already (Do you REALLY know how to use them?)

This is a very detailed video about the different ways that we use (and don't use) the words JUST, STILL, YET, ALREADY and EVER when talking about time. I made this English grammar lesson video because lots of English learners understand the basic meanings of these words but have incorrect understandings of how and why we really use them.

My NEW ebook "How to Learn to Think in English" is now available for just five dollars! (So is my original ebook "How to Practice Speaking English By Yourself".

I'm Teacher Mike, and I'm an English (ESL/EFL) teacher from the United States.

I'm currently posting 2 videos each week (Sunday and Tuesday)(Tuesday is a LIVE video), so if you're interested in improving your English, make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so that you see all of my new videos.

And don't forget to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads (and check out my website)!

I've been learning English for a long time, yet I still discover new challenges, expand my vocabulary, and find innovative ways to express myself. 🤩

Hi Mike, I have a question.
"The knife stuck in the ground at my feet."
'At' is used to talk about a specific location. In this sentence 'At' means 'In front of' or I can say 'Near'. It doesn't mean touching my feet. Is it right? I can also say the knife stuck in the ground near/in front of my feet.

Have you washed your hair yet? Heve you seen this film yet? Has it ever occured to you that we can diminish the distance? I am still dreaming of visiting this country again. I have been there only once. Thanks for the video. These words add some impressive shades to the language.
