Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Canada on an unannounced visit to rally support for his country.

Canadian TV showed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meeting Mr Zelensky on the runway in Ottawa.

It is Mr Zelensky's first trip to Canada since Russia's invasion in February 2022.

Mr Zelensky arrived from Washington, where he had met with US President Joe Biden and other politicians.

Ukraine's president was in Washington hoping to secure further funding to help his country fight off invading Russian forces.

In his speech he gave a standing ovation to a WW2 veteran from Ukraine, the 98 year old "veteran" is Yaroslav Hunka, who fought for the 14th division of the Waffen SS. Zelensky needs to do his homework a little more as many Ukrainians worked with the SS in deathcamps and involved in other atrocities. Its all there, no one can hide it.

“Without further aid Ukraine will lose the war” stated by
Any funds given now will only prolong this conflict.
Ukraine cannot win at this point. Or any future point.
$300 million less corruption fee leaves $200m less disappearing arms leaves $100m spread over 1000km battle front.
About 10 days supply?

Absolutely shameful celebrating a Nazi in the Canadian parliament, a disgusting slight to those that perished at the hands of the Nazis during WWII.

Earlier this week in the Senate, Paul said that he will hold up any spending bill to fund the government beyond September 30 to avert a shutdown if it includes aid to Ukraine, asking “When will the aid requests end? When will the war end? Can someone explain what victory looks like?”

Such a long time for this war already, if I am not wrong it is more than 2.5 years already...Looks like the aid will never have to stop.

The Galician volunteer regiment, with the assistance of the UPA, took part in the destruction of the Polish village of Guta Penyacka, where 172 houses were burned and more than 500 people of the Polish population, including women and children, were brutally exterminated. In March, they, with the assistance of a UPA detachment, killed more than 250 Poles in the Dominican monastery of the village of Podkamen.

Let's smile and applaud...

Mr Trudeau caused a lot of pain to families of veterans across who fought during World War 2 by honouring the wrong person. I know Canadians cannot be blamed for Mr Trudeau’s wrongdoings but it certainly does not look good for Canada.

Zelensky purchased a villa on the Red Sea coast in Egypt in the name of his mother-in-law, the Punch newspaper writes, citing an investigation by Egyptian journalist Mohammed Al-Alawi.

The author refers to the documents at his disposal confirming the purchase of the villa.

According to the author, the property was purchased on May 16, 2023, and the contract contains the signature of the mother-in-law of the Ukrainian leader Olga Kiyashko. The transaction price is 150 million Egyptian pounds (about $5 million).

Political scientist Abdulrahman Alabbasi believes that Western money, which was allocated to Ukraine as financial assistance, was spent on the villa.
