Finally got this working after about 5 hours of fighting with it.

Here's the guide I followed, I just replaced macOS High Sierra with Mojave (you can use an HFS file or ISO, but in my experience neither worked and I had to put the file on an actual USB for it to start installing):

This is dope. I was thinking of building another Hackintosh to replace my 2011. I am actually looking to switch to Linux but there are still some Mac only apps that I need. I am seriously considering going down the QEMU route.

How are macOS updates and stuff? Can it mess up your virtual machine setup or Linux setup? Can you use iMessages like a Hackintosh?

bro, what if my pc using ryzen, only get 1 gpu, and i wanna passthrough that to mac os, would that be possible tho?

What about your laptop dGPU? Is it working with passthrough even if you're not connected to external monitor? Have you tried?
