DUNE PART 2 TRAILER EXPLAINED - THEORIES AND NON SPOILER TALK

Dune Part 2 is officially scheduled with a release date of November 3rd 2023 and I couldn’t be more excited. The first official trailer was released a short time ago and with it, our first look at the second half of the novel adaptation from Denis Villeneuve. Newcomers Florence Pugh, and Austin Butler join Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and many others to fill out this universe and continue the story. After seeing part one, I really wanted to read the book and I FINALLY finished it. The story of Paul Atreides and Arrakis, the Dune planet, is incredible. From the sand worms to the Freman. The Harkonnens to the Emperor. The epic scope is nothing short of enthralling. Now I’m ready to dive into to all of the speculation and talk some theories about where I think this second movie is going to go as well as what sort of differences or deviations we might see! Frank Herbert really laid out a phenomenal story and so I’m fully expecting them to go above and beyond the first movie and give us a phenomenal Dune sequel. Science Fiction is BACK and I’m confident that this will be a MASTERPIECE!

I'm incredibly excited about this film. This is true cinema that stands out tall amongst the franchises and all their baggage. Never read the book so that makes me even happier that there is an adaption.

there are 6 books by Frank Herbert... and 2 more by his son... so there could be more than 8-10 movies! After Dune Part II, Denis announced there will be a huge break between the next production, to give the actors time to get in the exact age for their characters!

I’d like to see them go to God Emperor of Dune. That closes the Atreides story arc. Irulan is gonna be more significant in Dune Messiah and Children of Dune. I’m curious to see how audiences will react to Dune Messiah. That’s when the themes of the series come out. It also goes in unexpected directions. And if they make Dune Messiah, they have to make Children of Dune.
