I bought a Harvest Right freeze dryer and it's been running 24/7 for the last 3 years. I have steak that costs half of what it costs today. At the rate food prices are increasing the last few years, it's probably paid for itself in the savings. The food will last up to 20 years. Think of how much that steak will cost then. Plus I can make much higher quality tasting meals, which I mostly use the Instant Pot to prepare.
