Odda the elder was such a a good man, he was skeptical of Uthred but once he showed his worth and who he was he began to accept him and even admire him.

it's strange when you look back and see how different uhtred actually is at the end so rash and impulsive when he was younger and even though there is elements of himself still there you can clearly notice the changes
