as a swain main Liandry's is very valuable, but jak'sho or RoA are also great mythic options when your team lacks frontline.
if going jak'sho rush rilay's and/or demonic tho, you'd do too little damage early to survive laning phase

edit 2: if you don't like activatable items, Archangels gives similar value to zhonya's with the shield and an early tear helps a lot with the mana

I like playing hyper scale swain by going Rod of Ages - Archangels staff - Demonic Embrace - Rylais (if enemy is hybrid damage and/or you want more hp and slow)/Zhonya (if enemy is mostly AD)/Spirit Visage (If enemy is mostly AP)/Rabadons (if you need none of the above, usually get as 5th item anyway) and mostly rely on demonic embrace/pure stats and high amounts of sustain to win fights

Swain on top with Aery is OP, also in ap teams Abyssal Mask is very cheap, strong and provides magic pen as well. Usually mask gives around 3k extra dmg per game.

Dude, your Swain Support guide last year got me back into League and earned a M7 on Swain.


I took a hiatus from PVP, due to perfomance anxiety and Swain support becoming less viable.


But I'll take this as a sign to try again as Swain Mid or APC.


Also, just curious, why is Conq the go-to keystone for Swain?

Although i havent played swain much lately (now i play skarner, such good champion, im a bit worried that potential future rework will ruin that) i always did one dirty thing with him, i timed my W in to enemy spawn for some free stacks as well as delaying their coming for a bit, and my combo is to use E first, if it hits i use my W a bit closer to me, as the W is about to hit i pull the target and i Q him, i discovered this character because of a cool skin i got lmao
