In this video, we continue the NA Miata resurrection project by polishing the paint and restoring some of the beautiful Classic Red Shine. It sure is hard to believe this car is 27 years old!

The car looks great. I am getting ready to detail my wife's red 1991 Mazda Miata. It is badly oxidized and I am going to use many of the same steps that you did here. Thank you!

I am hoping to bring the shine back on a 1990 Miata with 203k miles but original paint. Did a preliminary cleaning/waxing by hand and it already improved but mus do the polisher one.

Would be nice to get a good before and after shot at the end since the shine at the end makes that 1993 NA look brand new.

Because my 1993 Miata is single stage paint and NOT matte, it’s OK to use a wax. Correct?

I saw that you used multiple different buffers. For someone on a budget, would you suggest getting just one medium sized buffer as opposed to multiple sized buffers? Can you link us to some of the products you used so I can look these products up on Amazon? Thanks for the video and guide.

Awesome video Ryan! Whenever you are polishing do you apply downward pressure on the tool or just use the weight of the tool? Does this change whenever you move to the smaller polishers?
