Very informative. I was leaning towards the ultrapro hose, but was hesitant because of the cost. This video made me feel comfortable enough with my decision to pull the trigger. Thanks Devin

Hey Devin no idea how often you check your comments. But thanks for making this video. I have been pretty impressed with the Earls stuff I've bought in the past, and not as happy with aeroquip socketless as I was in the past. Really glad to have some confidence in the lines

I have been using Earl's stuff since they were known as Earl's Surplus in the 60s. All the race shops I worked for used their products.

Since Earl's has now discontinued the convoluted hose, what is their current equivalent hose series which stands up to the rigors of the testing you have performed?

What do you recommend for -6an hose? E85 It looks like you can no longer get ultra pro in that size.

Hey Devin... What about -AN Power Steering hoses and ends? There are some folks like Fragola that have 3000 psi rated PS aluminum hose ends, but many people insist that steel is the only way to go. Then there's the dilemma about the high pressure hose and ends not being needed on the low pressure side, but are we talking the same hose? What -AN hoses and Hose Ends are safe for carrying power steering fluid at high or low pressure?

I didn't know the life expectancy was as low as it really is even with a quality hose. Makes more sense to buy better fittings then so at least some of it will survive being used again. Earls fittings, you bitch about them in the cart, when you hit buy button, all the way up till they are out of the package then you see they are the Snap-on of fittings for sure. You can tell just screwing them together dry how tight their quality control is. They are damn proud of their work for sure, but 90% of the time in this sport you can tell the quality piece vs amazon racing piece just by picking it up and the feel of it
