In this episode Vinnie makes one of his all time favorite snacks, Fire Crackers! This is one of the best snacks in the world and you're gonna love it!!!

Fire Crackers
Ingredients:
4 Sleeves
1 1/2 Cups of Canola Oil ***DO NOT SUBSTITUTE***
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Crushed Red Pepper
1 Package of Ranch Dressing Mix

Directions:
1) Combine the oil, crushed red peppers, and ranch mix into a jar with a tight lid and shake until blended.
2) Place all 4 sleeves of saltines in a sealable bag or bowl and pour the oil mixture over the crackers.
3) Shake and mix in the bowl or bag every 15 minutes for an hour and them let them sit overnight.
4) Enjoy!

I buy packets of different flavored mixes from a company called Savory fine foods. Their instructions tell you to put the flavor packet into a 2 gallon ziplock bag with canola oil (1and 2/3 cups), and then mix in the bag. Duh! Never thought to mix in a jar first.

you guys are adorable! Just made these but I had to substitute for olive oil. Baked at 250 for a bit. very good with my chili!

These are DELICIOUS! I have also make cinnamon crackers. 1 stick of butter, 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup cinnamon with 4 sleeves of crackers. Out of this world. You can sub cannola oil for butter.

I can't wait to try these Vinnie. The name alone inspires making and eating. I admit I thought they would be soggy too but I heard that crunch!

Sounds and looks good Vinnie. I woulda thought they'd have to be toasted in the oven to toast them back up.
I think I'll be trying this one. Yum!
I also think that using sweet chili sauce(the stuff you dip egg rolls in) and garlic or even the ranch. That has a kick too.

My recipe uses oyster crackers and for a twist it uses garlic powder and dill. I look forward to trying this out. Gale Flowers
