just picked a box up from walmart and pulled chubba hubbard rookie ticket. but i also pulled jamar chase rookie of the year card

As you can see, yes these are a big fat waste of The only Contenders retail product that is even worth taking a chance on, if you want, are the megas, and with the way retail is lately they'll probably suck too!!@
I saw a guy who bought like a case of these blasters & every box was almost identical, so no that's not rare.
I learned really quick, after my 1st year back, to avoid pretty much ALL blasters.

You must live close to the shipping source. Had I ordered they would’ve taken 8-9 days and I’m in eastern PA. Roche could be a decent player. Drafted by pitt but somehow got onto the giants and played well. This seems like a set to pass on and buy singles at shows. Thanks for the video!

I opened a blaster today of this. The only rookie I got was the swatch. I couldn't believe it. Yeah. For me I won't bother with this particular product anymore.

Are the rookie of the year cards the official base rookie card or an insert?

Contenders retail is very hit or miss. You're basically buying the blasters hoping for an auto or a solid mem card because the base cards are basically worthless. Auto's are probably seeded at a rate of about 1 in 10 or 1 in 15 and most of the time you will probably get a napkin-type patch memorabilia card.

I got one off target and got a Rondale Moore swatch. Then got two yesterday at a WalMart restock and pulled a Freiermuth swatch and friggin Panini points instead of an auto…

Surprised there's no rookie cards in these considering the front of the box is plastered with guys. I ordered 3 but yet to arrive. Kinda look like a dud, as bad as the Playbook Megas. Thx for Video
