Finaly - it's one of the best mods right now. Farming, animal breeding & killing, new decorative blocks, new REDNET network etc.

Most things that redpower does can be done by other mods, sometimes even better: volcanoes are in biomes o' plenty, redstone logic can be done with MFR rednet (even more compact), microblocks can be replaced by immibis' microblocks (they even work on BC pipes/IC2 cables) sorting can be done with AE/logipipes, vanilla quarts is a good replacement for marble, flax is replaced by cotton from Tconstruct, ruby/sapphire tools are also unnecessary thanks to Tconstruct. only thing missing are frames.

Being able to build something amazing. I have seen some single players worlds with their select mods installed that have fully auto base build from mining to planting breeding crafting storage everything. Being able to see what you have made and it all working would be an amazing feeling.

You are right, they should've considered adding it due to the simplicity of it. Powercrystals' a great guy, so is his fantastic mod.
