Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro Review

Reviewing Xiaomi's Redmi Pad Pro 2024, an Android tablet that boasts premium features like a crisp 120Hz display and quad speaker setup for a price that won't pummel your budget. I've been testing the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro for a week so here's my verdict on the gaming performance, battery life and beyond. It's a cracker for students, families and anyone who doesn't want to make sacrifices to trim that price.

If you fancy some multi-tasking on the move, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro offers the usual split-screen action as well as floating windows. You can connect this tablet to your Xiaomi phone as well, to share that screen, files and notifications.

Gamers can actually play the likes of Genshin Impact with a reasonably smooth frame rate on higher graphics settings, thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chipset. Movies look sharp and slick on the Redmi Pad Pro's LCD screen with Dolby Vision support. And there's a quad speaker setup so this tablet spaffs out some serious audio.

I've also been testing the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro's keyboard dock and stylus pen (although I have zero artistic abilities).

Just for info here: Youtube does not allow floating windows now because it has become their premium feature. In xiaomi, there was a feature to play video sound without the video actually playing or having the screen off. Unfortunately, that also has been removed as youtube introduced it to one of their paid features

That actually is a very decent one, that headphone jack, the SD card, and the dexent 12-inch display is a very tempting one. This is the new budget king of the tablets.
You might need to look up the stylus for latency and battery life, but this is an amazing deal

I see they still haven't resolved the issue with the 3 dots at the top of the screen it's so annoying it's there while watching movies I mean who wants 3 dots at the top of the screen while watching a movie it's ridiculous it ruins the viewing experience. 5 years doing hyperos and they think that's a good idea come on Xiaomi.I have the redmi pad I will not be buying anymore Xiaomi/redmi until they fix there silly software issues

Hmm.. I think I prefer the look of the Honor Pad 9, which is even slightly cheaper now (though it doesn't take an SD card and I believe it comes with Android 13).

sadly all of xiaomi tablets dont come with cellular connectivity so it's a no no for me
