The Lancet recently released a study showcasing the risks of elective surgery and their results may shock you. Their study found that patients who underwent elective surgery in Wuhan had a 100% rate of coming down with COVID, a 40% chance of needing care in the ICU, and over 20% passed away.

The sample size of this study is small, but the implications are clear- it's wise to think twice about elective surgery.
