The Škoda Karoq is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) designed and built by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto. Introduced in 2017, the vehicle is based on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform, and replaced the Škoda Yeti. The car slots between the smaller Škoda Kamiq and the larger Škoda Kodiaq.

The name Karoq is derived from Aleutian language, spoken by the native inhabitants of Alaskan island Kodiak. It is a combination of Aleutian words "kaa'raq" and "ruq", a car and an arrow, which are the elements of the Škoda logo. It is the second Škoda model to have a name inspired by the Aleuts, after the Kodiaq.

The Karoq is available in two and four-wheel-drive configurations. Higher trim levels will come with a Driving Mode Select system with five modes, while an Off-Road mode featuring traction control and electronic differential lock is an option on four-wheel-drive models. The Karoq's suspension features a MacPherson-designed front axle with triangular wishbones, and a four-link rear axle. A Dynamic Chassis Control system on the 1.5-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TDI engines will offer three chassis modes which are Comfort, Standard and Sport with electrically operated valves adjusting based on road conditions.

Hi guys here in Greece at the past we trust so much the Skoda company also the taxi owners but we have too much problems unfortunately.!Problems like not too good quality plastics at the doors so make noises and others also with the fuel systems becks and some others mechanics..and i am wondering are problems also and in other countries or not.?Is it truth that in Greece are coming cars from B or C quality.?Thank you for your time i will appreciate if someone knows something.!

Hello....we have just purchased a new Skoda Karoq Style Automatic ..We live in Spain permanently although we are from the UK...Whilst we love the car we are somewhat disappointed that the salesman ordered us a user manual in English only for the car to come with a spanish manual, yes we can get a PDF file (much too big for printing out) but is there any way you could please send us the English edition ? The salesman was excellent working in Torrevieja ..Many thanks

Mam Karoq 2020 1.6tdi dsg i Jestem zadowolony z wyjadkiem uchwytow do zamykania drzwi ktore trzeszcza jak w 20 lat Dacii. W serwisie Skoda powiedzieli ze ten model tak ma.Czy mozna z tym cos zrobic ??

Smejem sa z tohto videa. Výstupná kontrola je katastrofálna. Podľa mňa ani žiadna nie je. Toľko chýb a nedostatkov čo som mal na novom aute som ešte u žiadnej inej značky nemal. Nefunkčné USB, nedoliehajuce zadné dvere a predný blatník, krivo nalepené tesniace gumy, poškodený disk...

A těsnění pod přední kapotu (KODIAQ 2023), aby na motor nešly slané sračky z cest tam dát neumí. Motor je neustále zasraný. A když to reklamujete, tak je to v pořádku, tak to má být, oni to totiž mají homologované... :-) Soudruzi v NDR asi někde udělali chybu a ani si to neumí přiznat...
