Ecole Pleine Nature - Crowdfunding Campaign (Dec 2018)

We’re based in the South of France and are the Ariege’s first bilingual, private democratic school.

Our mission is to create more happy, confident, non-violent communicators that are passionate about life, have respect for the environment, all things living and can help build a better world.

We believe we are at the cutting edge of current educational practices, creating a learning environment for students of the future.

The industrial model of teaching is rapidly becoming redundant and doesn’t reflect the needs of our younger generation.

We follow France’s law of education, but we do not follow the curriculum. It is apparent from the calls that we receive on a daily basis from families locally, nationally and all over the world that there is a huge demand for the type of education that we are offering – because, to put it simply, the main stream system does not work for many children! Over the last two years there has been a great horde of local volunteers and parents who have all worked nonstop through holidays and weekends to make a safe and beautiful environment for the children.

We need your help to further our school so we can continue to supply a wonderful learning environment for children age 5-19. Firstly for this winter we need to finish the insulation and then we need to increase our floor space and make more rooms, finally we need to buy more equipment.

With an injection of €53,000. We will be able to complete all the final works needed and concerntrate solely on the children and the workings of the school.

Ecole Pleine Nature first opened in September 2017 with 18 children. Today there are 43 children 7 staff members and a handful of helpers.

One of the objectives is to NOT be elitist but open to all, so it is of utmost importance that the school fees are of a minimum. They charge €1,800.00 school fees per child per year.
