Best shorts video so far! So valuable and effective to keep us in a position of authority and not allowing the potential client to control our financial requirements out of fear because they think we will bend backwards to work with them.

I'm here for it! For too long, it was deemed rude or inappropriate to challenge customers but there's nothing wrong with that. People just don't know how to go about it. Challenging doesn't have to involve being aggressive or fighting.

I wouldn't say that, but the concept is correct. If they push back on the price, I usually tell them that they shouldn't settle, and that they should try and find someone in their budget that can offer everything they need. And I try and lose the client. Part of it is I don't like working with clients that don't value me, and the other part is they will chase you back and then book for the price.

Hey Chris, Can you discuss how to overcome the incremental growth objection ("Oh we don't have enough inventory to want to drive up demand"). This is an objection I ran into today and I didn't know how to challenge it. So I was wondering what your approach would be. Note that this is a company that doesn't necessarily lack resources to have an aggressive marketing spend.

I can understand the strategy of avoiding being defensive and having them prove themselves to you, but I still get this feeling that saying "I'm not sure you can afford us" will sound arrogant and snobbish, even if said with a neutral and friendly tone. I'm curious... has any client ever reacted in that way when they heard you say it Chris?

Can't this backfire, by telling the client that they can't afford you. What if the client can easily afford you, but is just really sticking to a budget. You risk losing their business permanently don't you?

Know who your talking to first, I had this happen to me, like boi I am biggest provider in the region what do u mean "I think its too expensive for you"

I don't like following this "strategy".

I often give my prospect my portfolios & happy customers testimonials so they will have more confident with my offers.
