Blueberry mead sounds so good, and the bourbon barrel will definitely give it some awesome deep flavor 😮👌

Blueberry wine looks so strong I remember when I made some and it made me feel like a real wine maker

Can you try making a durian wine or mead. Would really love to see what an asian fruit would taste like

I don't know how expensive this would be but I bet it would be amazing to use saskatoon berries/blabla serviceberries. They are super underrated and taste almost as good as raspberries

Ive found out if i throw the berries into a pot and smash um down then a lil water and get them a bit warm not much just a little then throw your sugar into the pot or at least galf the sugar depends on the size of pot but it makes fermentation pop off quicker and the flavor is more robust

I'm actually making a blueberry/lemon pop right now with a ginger bug! It's only just started to ferment, so I have a few weeks left to go

Can't make or drink alcohol. But I make sourdough bread and I used natural yeast to make my starter. I also make fermented food but don't let it feement long enough to make alcohol.

why dont you muddle the berries before fermenting? wouldnt that release more flavor and sugars?

I heard that you can make soda with pine needles because of a yeast that grows on each one of them, would it be possible to make mead with it without adding as much yeast or no yeast at all? Please i want to know🙏🏻

You used so many blueberries in this one. I bet that many berries will leave a ton of flavor.

what do you do with all the leftover mead?

You know what that yeast could use? Some high quality, caffeinated bean juice that was brewed by the finest quality of coffee beans sourced from the majestic mountains of Columbia….coffee…Coffee Mead…let’s roll with it, daddio.

I think the stirring has more to do with aeration than CO2, but that's just my humble opinion

Could you put honey in an old bourbon barrel and then turn the bourbon barrel honey into mead?
