Without spoiling anything I have to say Yokai Watch 2 is a huge tonal whiplash after playing 1. So many changes were made to fit it more in line with the anime including a complete overhaul of Whisper's personality and how the world treats him as a punching bag.

Don't go with whatever
Get yourself some heavy hitters

Evolve shmoopie in the yokai world. Fight it's evolution and pop a yokai orb in the background to get the lovw scepter. (It also has a chance to drop after beating the evo of shmoopie)

If you do the post game there is a secret level in the post game with a lot of bosses fight a a very unique boss at the end and other secret bosses and there are quest in the yo Kai world where you can get items to fuse draggie and frostina to s ranks
