I quit listening to pop/rock/country in the eighties, as it all became nothing but commercialized, computer generated garbage with no soul, so I switched almost exclusively to classical. Since then, I rarely run across anyone outside of classical that's worth listening to. Brandy Clark is a most welcome exception. I discovered her on this very ACL broadcast, and I'm hooked. Exceptional songwriting with relatable, meaningful lyrics, and music actually played by real musicians on real instruments - what's not to love!? This world needs more Brandy Clarks, and fewer Justin Biebers, etc...
