This performance had me up on my feet dancing with them and vibing to the tune of the music and I loved that motsi and Shirley were up on there feet and thoroughly enjoying it ( 1.17 )hands down best dance of the night 😃😄😄😃😃🤟👍😁

For those that maybe haven't seen any of my other comments, I'm in the wilds of Ireland with no TV but can't do without my weekly dose of Strictly glitter and dancing. I only get to watch the dances on YouTube but because of that, I don't really get exposed to any of the press and social media hype about the contestants other than the other comments on these videos.

Bearing that in mind, I was absolutely astounded to read comments here talking about "haters" and "all the hate directed at Fleur". Can we just take a moment to really digest that and think what the world has come that people will resort to hatred over a dancing show?! To be honest, I didn't know who Fleur was before Strictly and she's not one of my personal favourites this year but do I hate her? It doesn't even compute.


Anyway, as someone wisely said elsewhere let's 'forget the haters'. As I say, Fleur is generally not one of my favourite dancers but this was something else!. I'm actually surprised that the Couples Choice has (probably?) generated more Street/Commercial based numbers than Contemporary/Jazz/Broadway but I'm just loving ALL of it and after the first Afro Fusion routine last week, this routine stood out as something unique as well. Yes, the influences were obvious and if Vito hasn't just set Fleur up as the star of a yet-to-written Beyonce musical, I'll eat my hat! But that's just it, all the Beyonce moves were there but it wasn't just a 'tribute act', it did have a Broadway air (I guess the Tower Ballroom helped there) about it and some other completely original parts. Anyway, I loved it and I even did some of the moves past the goats this morning - they're even harsher judges than Craig!
