I've felt so many different emotions listening to this... this is so eery, disturbing and at the same time very nostalgic and sad. Like... remember simpler times? Times when everything was alright?... It almost makes me cry.

To think that such a tiny snippet of the trailer could evoke such emotion.
Chainsaw Man has a lot of comedic elements running through it, but at its core it is a paranormal horror and a tragedy. Finding a balance in tone between that humour and the violent lonliness and desperation that pervades the manga is not going to be easy. Projecting that tone above all the gore, corruption, hate, etc is going to be hard. But this short snippet of music and the video that went with it gives me hope. Like the studio 'gets it'. For all the adrenaline, there is a haunting undercurrent that shouldn't be ignored, along with the bittersweet element of found family, longing, and sacrifice.

I have a great feeling about this series.
I just hope they don't force the team to go through the horrible degrees of 'crunch' that pervades media production groups. As gently hype I am to feel this series come to life, nothing is worth the health/death of the workers behind it
