Audino is actually one of the few Pokemon that should’ve gotten a mega when you think about it. To put it into perspective, think of mega metagross. At first mention, you might think “yeah it’s metagross of course it should have a mega form.” But does a Pokemon with a 600 BST really need an even stronger form? Did latias and latios need them? Did Mewtwo need them? Legendaries are debatable, but do we really need gyarados to have a mega evo despite it being powerful already? Weaker pokemon with megas stand out, because they’re weaker from the get go. They have potential to grow, like mawile and lopunny.
