When I was ski racing back in the 80's, this one kid, Chad Fleisher, crashed in a downhill and a bamboo pole that was the guard of that turn, shot up into his helmet. What a mess! Well, he was buying us all beer for the next few weekends because he was built large and totally unrecognizable.
