This is in my top 3 favorite moments from the show (maybe even my favorite). The entire show was a super fun ride and at times emotional, but this scene took it to another level. Props to Jay Baruchel and also the incredible animators. Hiccup and all the other riders' reactions to him are amazing.

I kind of cried seeing toothless sad about when hiccup said none of that would have happened if he had never shot down toothless. With toothless sad that's basically saying he really loves hiccup and doesn't care if he shot him down.

after this scene there is a reference to the first movie but hiccup doesnt hit toothless, later in his life he find toothless in the exast same place and fought a deathsong i think, then history repeats its self

I love how Astrid is always there to support Hiccup even during his toughest moments. Hiccup's had his fair share of difficult moments, from the last season of RTTE, to his father's death in HTTYD 2, to the whole ordeal with Grimmel in HTTYD 3, but Astrid has always provided him support and boosted his spirits. Such a well-done relationship!
