So first of all, u adjust the volume by 3db... NOBODY DOES THAT!!! YESSSS! People really don't understand what that means in the world of sound. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15... db. I go crazy when I see somebody adjust the volume to 5.21db, or 14.3.. like why? Admittedly, it's more of an OCD thing for me, likely.. but still, very cool!

sScond, two things that changed my life, ALWAYS have a limiter on your master channel (set up a template so its always there when u open a new project) that way u don't have to have it on an individual channel, and u can turn it off when listening to your whole track, but keep it 0n when you're doing sound design. And a free VST that mean everything to me, MVMeterer, from TBPro. it's free, and it shows your sound output according to a reference dbfs ( db full scale). The most common reference is -18. The reason why that is so important is that almost all effects were meant to be hit at a certain volume to achieve the correct "sound". -18 dbfs is generally accepted as the standard, but I'm sure u know this stuff. It also helps in a mix, so u know what should be set at what, then mix from there. (though many will say the more accepted way to mix is to "use your ears".) Again, I just set up my main templates to have every individual track have an eq, MVMeter, and utility. It really makes life easy for me.

Great tuts, though I'm already a bit well versed on drones and such, I just watch youtube stuff to find out what I may not know!
