It is a pity that it is not possible to mark an appointment as private, so that other users do not see the text of the appointment, but only private appointment. Is possible with Outlook for a very long time. Also that categories for calendar entries are missing, I do not understand.

I have a consistent problem using my Apple calendar and sending email alerts to Apple Mail. These are always alerts that get repeated every week, or every month, or every year, or something like that. There is only one alert for each calendar item. But I keep getting two email alerts each time the alert is sent to my email. How can I make it send just one email alert?
