Since achieving the prestigious Investors in People Standard across all UK sites in July 2012, Vauxhall Motors has furthered their success and recently achieved the gold award, demonstrating true commitment to its employees as well as a solid foundation of excellent practice across the organisation.
Vauxhall employs around 3,500 people in the UK and exports three quarters of its production. It is headquartered in Luton, Bedfordshire where it also manufactures the Vivaro light commercial vehicle. A second plant at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire produces the Astra.
