Indian soldiers need more respect and accolades than Bollywood actors who don't know what India is. Our families sleep safely in India due to them. We have to celebrate them. Thanks Burkhaji

*Those days when Scamgress kept Indian armed forces in a weak state*
Kargil was won coz of bravery not coz of superior weaponry or gadgets

Barkha’s favorite word “final assault”. She uses it very loosely - be it Tiger Hill, or 26/11, or Israel’s war against Hamas.

It is very sad to see the likes in the comments section.

The comments in which Barkha Dutt is criticised has got more likes and the comments which salutes the kargil war heroes has got either few likes or no likes at all.

After 25 years of kargil war what kind of society we have become?

Barkha Dutt may have committed her share of mistskes and I think she has got enough pay back.

Barkha Dutt is an indian citizen and we Indians cannot forget the pains she took and risk her life for the actual coverage of kargil war

We indians got the first feel of how soldiers fought and it was really patriotic feeling.

Barkha Dutt may be anti some indian political outfit but she cannot be termed gaddar of india

Thanks. Jaihind

What is the reason to make it all about you ? The video thumbnail, beginning with your montage ? It is the victory of our soldiers, don't even try to make it about yourself !

To those criticising Barkha Dutt after the fact, it is essential to reflect on the Gulf War coverage by CNN and journalists like Peter Arnett. During that conflict, the Pentagon implemented SOP Annex Foxtrot, a measure based on the Vietnam War experience, which allowed for stringent media regulation of war coverage. Barkha Dutt and her team adhered to similar protocols set by the Indian Army. They were not rogue journalists but professionals following military instructions.

Those writing books and slinging mud at her need to recognise where the responsibility truly lies—primarily with the Indian Army, not Barkha Dutt. She was simply doing her honest work, showcasing the valour and dedication of our soldiers. For the first time, Indians saw their brave jawans in action, their courage and sacrifices laid bare for the nation to witness. 🇮🇳

In a time of war, it takes immense courage to report from the front lines. Barkha Dutt's work provided a vital window into the lives and heroism of our soldiers, a task she undertook with integrity and commitment. So, to all the critics, remember this: the true essence of journalism is to bring the truth to light, and Barkha did just that. Her dedication to portraying the Indian Army in its truest form is commendable. 💪

Barkha, your work shone a light on our heroes, and for that, the nation salutes you. Critics may speak, but history remembers the bravery and dedication you showcased. Keep your head high, for you have done your country proud. 🙏

Because you stood there stupidly and went on talking, you helped Pakistan to zero in on the Indian positions.
