Transforming I-66 Outside the Beltway

US Route 50 is sometimes best known for running 3073 miles (4946 km) through 12 states and Washington, DC - from Sacramento California to Ocean City Maryland. However, all of the action was at Route 50 and I-66 in Fairfax this winter as 12,000 feet of beams were installed that will carry 8 lanes of traffic via 2 bridges over I-66, including a massive 185 foot beam!
