Both sides have examples that they point to for hypocrisy of the other, and that will never change since both sides have idiots in their ranks. The real issue is that anyone who attempts the high road will ultimately just be refraining from said tactics which cedes the "tactical advantage" to the other team, thus in most instances becoming a moot point.
