Estate planning is the process of arranging one's affairs, through legal, financial, and medical documentation, so that trusted family members or loved ones can make decisions for you that are in your best interest when you cannot make your own decisions. Estate planning also includes arranging affairs so that when you pass away, there is an efficient and orderly transfer of your life's belongings and values to future generations and other loved ones.

Health care documentation that is included in one's estate planning program includes, but is not limited to, a HIPAA Authorization, a Health Care Power of Attorney, a Living Will, and an Advance Health Care Directive.

Would you be able to share if you use notary Publics to execute these documents, what does your office look for in a notary? I want to leverage my notary public to help estate attorney clients. This will help save clients and the attorney money as my services will be cost efficient vs using a paralegal or attorney.

Hi Paul, great video again! I have a question about transferring a tenancy by the entirety house to the spouses' separate trusts. How should that marital house by the entirety be transferred to the 2 separate trusts of the husband and wife via deeds? (Assuming they made separate trusts to keep separate properties separate and for protection from creditors). Thanks so much!
