New York police provide update on shooting death of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson

The CEO of UnitedHealthcare was fatally shot Wednesday morning in New York City in what authorities believe was a "targeted attack."

The New York City Police Department said 50-year-old Brian Thompson was shot just before 7 a.m. outside the Hilton hotel on 54th Street in midtown Manhattan.
