An iced blonde vanilla latte is my go to when I'm at work (Starbucks Barista). Try it with ristretto shots next time! It takes even more of the bitterness away from the coffee. Also just so you know since the blonde is "sweeter" it gets 1 less pump of syrup the drink than regular espresso drinks.

I order blonde at Starbucks. I love it. Maybe it is less acidic? It's true they told me it has more caffeine too! Tis why I order it.😊

I love a strong coffee but cant stand the bitterness that often comes along with it! I can fairly say that blonde is my favorite favorite!

Thanks for the review! I bet the blond espresso would be really good in a peppermint mocha, which is a year ‘round staple for me. Sometimes the espresso is too bitter for it and it overpowers the peppermint flavor. Thanks Max!

Try an undertow with the blonde. It’s my favorite drink. I used to start my shift with a quad undertow and it gave me life lol

Yes lighter roast has more caffeine cause they roast less out of beans. I saw light roast has more caffeine less flavor and dark has more flavor less caffeine. So really depends on taste to me.

I used to get vanilla lattes all the time! I felt like their iced lattes are too acidic? I started getting iced coffee about a year ago and just recently I tried the cold brew. It’s fantastic. It’s not bitter or acidic, it is super smooth, and it’s very strong! Normal coffee tastes like water now 😂 Because cold brew is so smooth and not acidic I don’t need to add any milk to it either; I just get mine with two pumps of vanilla ( I don’t like mine too sweet). I would only recommend getting the grande size though, there is WAY more caffeine in cold brew than normal coffee and espresso.

if your espresso ever tastes burnt there's something wrong with the shots or the machine! so many starbucks dont take the tlc to calibrate their machines or monitor how long their shots pull for

huh, I'd be interested to try this! back when I worked at starbucks they actually did have a different kind of specialty espresso for a little while, and I vaguely remember it was one of their medium reserve roasts. I don't know if it was a regional thing or not, but it was much smoother than the usual espresso.

All the blonde espresso drinks have one less pump of syrup flavoring than the regular espresso drinks to compensate for the lack of bitterness!!
